Every couple is unique, just like their wedding day. I strive to be flexible and accommodating with my pricing to ensure all your needs are met. The packages below will work for most couples, but if you have something different in mind don’t hesitate to reach out!
What is a pre-wedding consultation?
I have a very important job, to make sure that you have an artistic record of the most important day of your life! I want to make sure that I know my clients and understand their needs. The consultations are for you to talk through the photographic style that you’re looking for, tell me about how you plan the day to go, and get some tips and tricks from to make sure that your photographs are the best that they can be!
Where are you located and do you travel?
I’m located just east of the Greater Toronto Area. I’m happy to travel all over southern Ontario, from Ottawa to Windsor and up as far as North Bay without charge. Anything outside of that, or that requires overnight accommodation can be negotiated!
When will we get our photos?
I will do everything we can to get you your photos within a week, before my next weekend shoot. A typical wedding involves going through well over 1,000 images and editing about 500-700 of them, so it takes me about 20-30 hours. If the season is busy I may need up to two weeks.
Do you videography as well?
Yes! I bucked the trend of adding videography to my packages for a long time, but it’s been a lot of fun now that I’ve started. I don’t offer a whole day of videography, as that would take too much away from the photography and probably isn’t what you really want. I’ve found that most couples just want a highlight reel of the most special moments to share with family or on social media, so that’s what I’ve been offering. It’s a nice addition to the still images!
Do you have a second shooter?
It’s usually just me unless the event is huge. Generally a second shooter isn’t required as all of the activity is around the bride and groom anyway and a good photographer can get all of the images they need. Sometimes new photographers will ask to assist to build up their portfolio, but that would be at the clients’ discretion.
